FICTION ADDICTION

The Fiction Addiction book club was founded in 2015.

When I first arrived in NYC, I sought out book clubs to find like-minded women interested in making friends over books. After a few months I decided to start my own and the all-women Fiction Addiction book club was born. Over 150 meetings later, we’re still meeting (virtually) every week!

Special Guests & Adventures

For our very first book club, we hosted award-winning author, Amor Towles, for a discussion on his first book, Rules of Civility.

We usually meet in our favorite Lower East Side wine bar, but we also visit fascinating locales all over NYC that match our books: a hidden speakeasy, a cocktail apothecary, the lush lawns of Central Park, an old-school diner, a horror-themed restaurant, and many more!

Apart from our usual book clubs, I also host book swaps in the park, book club field trips, author meet-and-greets at local bookstores, and special screenings of books-turned-movies. Over the years we’ve visited Book Con, Brooklyn Book Festival, the Penguin Random House Book Fair for Adults, and more!
