An eerie graphic novel haunted by mysterious horned monsters of folklore and an unspoken catastrophe that has changed this corner of the world forever. Volume one is only a brief introduction to this world lost in time and suffering. 

The story centers on the dynamic between the two main characters: a tall, slight horned creature and a young innocent child. Although told in entirely in black and white, there is a warmth and vibrance in the interactions between watch keeper and child. The child is like a wood sprite - full of innocence, and play. While the horned creature is cautious and proper, with the faded elegance of an old vampire. 

Both will be tested when a malevolent force appears just as this volume draws to a close.
